Nightmares
Capucine : I don't like nightmares, they're scary. The other night, I had this nightmare and there was a wolf, I said a word or something and it heard me, and there were hunters and they were disguised like monsters, then they took me to this big prison and left me there, I was all alone and I had nothing to eat, and you and Daddy were not there...
Me : Maybe you could try to change what happens in your nightmare, you know. For example you could kill the wolf. Or call Mom and Dad to come rescue you.
Capucine : No, I can't. I'm not the one who decides what I dream of. It's my head that decides.

Capucine : Mom, can you get me a biscuit please ?
Me : Hold on a minute, I have to finish something first.
Capucine : But I want it NOW.
Me : Well, I'm afraid you'll have to wait a little, young lady.
Capucine, lifting an eyebrow : Huummm...Making people wait is not very polite, do you know that ?

Doctor : So Capucine, since your last visit 5 months ago, you grew up 6 centimeters (2 inches). And you have gained...let's see... only 400 grammes (14 ounces).
Ummm... I bet your parents don't give you anything to eat, huh ?
Capucine, with a very sad look on her face and a mournful voice, shaking her head :
No, they don't !

Caring sister
Aliocha, my 10 years old son, was sulking in his room after being scolded. Capucine ran upstairs in order to cheer him up.
Capucine : Aliocha, do you want a kiss ?
Aliocha, mumbling : No, thank you.
Capucine : Do you want me to sing you a song ?
Aliocha : No. I'm upset at the parents.
Capucine : Oh. I think you are tired, you know. You should take a nap and it will be allright.
