Choir club
Aliocha : Mom, I think that I’m not going to go to the school’s choir club anymore.
Me : Oh, why ? You seemed pretty happy with it.
Aliocha : Yeah, I was at first, because the teacher said we could choose the songs we were going to sing. So I brought some songs by Supertramp, but she said there were better ones.
Me : Like ?
Aliocha : Like “Michelle” or “Yesterday” by the Beatles.
Me : I love the Beatles, but she could have picked other songs. These are always the ones that get chosen for the “end of the year choir shows” and in the end, everyone is tired to hear them over and over.
Aliocha : Yeah, and you know what’s worse ? She wants us to sing THIS. And DANCE like them.
Me : Ok, you’re right. Drop it.
